Description:

The canning of tuna, sardines and mussels, generates an effluent rich in organic matter due to presence of oils, proteins and suspended solids. To treat these waters it was decided to remove oil and suspended solids in a first stage and then use an anaerobic reactor to remove dissolve biodegradable compounds so the water could be released.
